The man said, “I went for some quick grocery shopping at a small store. The parking lot is very compact, with only about 20 parking spots that are usually all taken.”
He Searched For A Parking Space
The man drove around for a parking space, struggling to find one. Eventually, he saw one that was free but quickly realized why. He explained, “Someone parked their car outside the lines, occupying a small portion of the vacant parking spot.”
He Had A Parking Strategy
With his small car, the man recognized that he could still fit in the parking spot, provided he parked very close to the offending vehicle, blocking the driver’s side door but ensuring he could exit from his side comfortably.

The man emphasized that his parking job was entirely within the lines. Even though it meant the other driver wouldn’t be able to get into their car through the driver side door.

As he headed into the grocery store, a woman (around 40 years old) called out to him, requesting that he move his car so she could access hers.

The man told the woman that his car was parked correctly within the lines, and her car was the issue. So he told her to use the passenger side door to enter the car. However, this didn’t go down well with the woman.
She Argued With Him
The woman persistently told him that he needed to move his car, but he declined every time and walked into the store. She got into her car and moved it, and he carefully watched to ensure she caused no damage to his vehicle.
The Man Was Told Off At Home
When he got home, however, his wife thought he had acted like a jerk. He said, “I enthusiastically told my wife about my pettiness, but she said I was an jerk for doing that and that I unnecessarily ruined this woman’s day.”
