His sister had had to move school twice due to bullying, and her mother told him she refused to open up to anybody about it. She also had extreme mood swings, and everyone in the family was concerned. He tried to talk to her, but she would just shut the conversation down and give him attitude.
He Got Her an Amazing Gift
In an attempt to cheer up his poor younger sister, he decided to treat her to something she really wanted. She was a keen artist and had begged her parents for a set of Copics markers for her birthday, but they were far too expensive. So he decided to swoop in and save the day.
They Were $150
The markers were professional-grade and cost $150, which was roughly $5 per marker. Her parents had already said no to spending that much money on a hobby, but he thought this would be the perfect present to cheer his sister up. His parents would buy her the necessities like sneakers and clothes, and he would give her a little bit of luxury.
She Was So Rude
The most recent texts he had received from his sister was her complaining about her parents not buying her the markers, so when the big day came, the man was excited to give her the gift. But his sister was acting sour as soon as he got to the house. She wouldn’t even acknowledge her brother and only said hi when her parents made her. Her attitude shocked him, but things really got awkward when she opened her gifts.
It Was a Nightmare

When she unwrapped a lovely journal, she yelled at her parents, stating that they could have spent the same amount on something she actually wanted rather than the stuff she had received.
She Threw a Tantrum
She threw the journal against the wall, swore, and ran into her room. The man couldn’t believe it. When he was younger, they had a lot less money, and he appreciated every gift he received. He spoke with his parents about his sister’s attitude and found out she had had even worse outbursts than this. His sister really needed to learn the value of a dollar, and he had an idea.
He Took the Gift Back
After her horrid behavior, the man took his sister’s gift back, which shocked his entire family. They begged him to bring it back, even refusing to speak to him until he did, but he hadn’t even received a thank-you and wanted to teach her a lesson. His family said that he ruined her birthday, but he didn’t think that was fair. He asked the Internet for advice.
