However, just 10 minutes into the movie, Emily was tapped on the shoulder by a woman seated in the aisle behind her and across from her, who demanded that she turn off the movie to avoid any spoilers.
She Was Confused
Emily was confused by the woman’s request and asked her why she needed to turn off the movie. The woman explained that she had not seen the movie and did not want to see any spoilers on Emily’s screen. Emily suggested that the woman watch a different movie on her own screen, but the woman refused and continued to complain.
She Kept Knocking Her
As Emily continued to watch the movie, the woman began to bump into her every time she got up to use the restroom on the plane, making it clear that she was unhappy with Emily’s decision to watch the movie. This happened several times throughout the flight, causing Emily to feel uncomfortable and frustrated.

Emily and the other passengers in her aisle remained seated, waiting for the woman to move so they could gather their bags and exit the plane.

As Emily began to gather her bags from the overhead locker, the woman once again confronted her, accusing her of cutting her off and calling her a “stuck-up” and kept going on about how people are so disrespectful these days. Emily was taken aback by the woman’s behavior and responded calmly, suggesting that the woman should have selected a seat closer to the front or upgraded to avoid any inconvenience.
