The woman’s frustration grew as she struggled to buckle her toddler in while avoiding any contact between her door and the sedan. “I’m doing my best, but this is a busy parking lot,” the woman reminded the man. “People are going to be coming and going and stuff might touch your car.”
Finding a Solution
The man responded by staring angrily at the woman. She eventually found a solution, albeit an uncomfortable one. “I asked my daughter to try to buckle herself in while holding the car door so it doesn’t touch his anymore,” she recounted. “I managed to contort, stretch, and slide into the driver’s seat, but it wasn’t a pleasant experience.”

The altercation was now over, but the woman was left frustrated. She wondered why the man chose to sit in his car idly in such a busy spot when there were ample alternatives. She also felt that he was being unrealistic to expect people to never touch his car with their door, believing it to be inevitable.
