Jeff Goldblum

“Met his wife and children as well. They were all kind and sweet. His real-life persona matches the on-screen one exactly.”
“My buddy is a flight attendant, and I met him a few months ago. I gave the same review. Very kind but definitely eccentric. Took the time for autographs and pictures.”
Prince Charles

“Prince Charles was also pretty friendly. Would look you directly in the eye during conversation and make you feel like there was no one else in the world but the two of you – despite being constantly surrounded by others.”
“My friend was a maid at Balmoral. They had a staff dance, and my pal kept bumping into the person behind her. She turned around to apologize, and it was Chuck. Told her it was cool and was nice to her whenever he saw her.”
Gene Wilder

“I delivered medicine to his wife, and she yelled at me. As I turned around to walk away from the door, I went several steps before I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turned around, and it was Gene, letting me know that his wife was very sick, and he apologized many times for her behavior. He then gave me a nice tip for the delivery service and shared his gratitude for the weekend delivery.”
Ian McKellan

“He sat down on some empty theater steps with me and conversed. It was awesome, and I will never forget it!”
“Ian McKellan is a legend. Chatted with him about Apt Pupil and filming X_M-Men. Got a selfie with him (using a real camera as it was about 20 years ago), and when I said thanks, he patted me on my shoulder and sent me on my way.”
Weird Al

“I’ve met him twice, and when he looked me in the eyes, it felt like he was hugging my soul.”
“I met him at Disneyland. He was ridiculously nice and patient with my 12-year-old self, who could barely calm down enough to hug him.”
Alan Alda

“I was at one of his book signings, and I was so nervous to the point that all I could say was, “I love M* A* S* H!” And he took my hand for a second and made a joke about being surprised I knew about the show because I was young. Once I got past my absolute embarrassment, I realized he was so gracious and patient with me when he could have easily been rude. A great human being.”
“Absolutely as kind and gentle and lovely as he seemed on TV.”
Peter Dinklage

“Really cool guy. His laugh is incredibly infectious.”
“My younger brother was a fan of his through GOT before it dominated pop culture, at the premiere of X-Men Days of Future Past. He was maybe 12 and ran up to Peter as he was being escorted through the crowds. Security stuck an arm out, but not before Peter saw my brother. He asked security to let go of my brother and gave him his autograph. Mad respect to him for that.”
Dave Chappelle

“Dave Chappelle and his family live a few miles from where I went to college, and he and I frequented the same Starbucks. I ran into him about ten times. One day he sat with me for about 45 minutes and talked about screenwriting. It was amazing. He’s as down to earth as his stage persona suggests, and it’s no wonder he opted to raise his family away from L.A.”
Hugh Laurie

“I can confidently state that he is among the nicest and most humble celebrities. Not only is he pleased to interact with his fans, but he also does so in a way that makes them feel like friends. He remembers names and personal details with amazing accuracy, making each conversation seem like an extension of a treasured (and ongoing) dialogue.”
Jason Momoa

“He’s an absolute treasure to be around. He’s genuine and loves his job. He wants his fans to have as much fun as he’s having. He can size up a fan and know how far to push/tease them to make them comfortable while not going too far. His personality is infectious, and I had a blast with him.”
Tracy Morgan

“The Verizon employee said my sister’s damage wasn’t covered under insurance and my mom couldn’t afford to buy her a new phone, and my sister, I guess, clearly got emotional because Tracy Morgan, who had been talking to my mom for a bit before while they were waiting (my mom and sister had NO idea who he was until my dad came in and recognized him) bought the phone for her.”
“I was a waitress at a comedy club in 2005 or so, and he did a weekend headlining there. He was creepy and inappropriate with the staff and very physically aggressive. Definitely saw a weird, entitled, pervy side to the guy. He was also condescending and rude to the local comedians.”
Tom Hanks

“I worked at Disneyland in the late 90s, and I saw him giving a tour to a group of about 25 kids. He was leading the tour, and the Disney tour guide was tagging along, so I could tell he’d done this many times before.”
“I work at Disney World and did promo work for Toy Story 4 last year. He came into my attraction’s break room, picked up a cell phone, and took a random selfie with everyone in the room. Most celebrities don’t speak to Cast Members, let alone go out of their way to interact. Was never so sad to not be at work that day.”
Robin Williams

“I saw him at the Bellagio Hotel in Vegas in 2002. He and his wife were heading to the private gaming area, and he got absolutely bombarded by a group of foreign tourists. They were a travel group from Japan, and they basically mobbed him. He was so sweet. Smiling, shaking hands, gently mocking their excitement. A national treasure.”
“I met Robin late one night at UC Berkeley in the 90s. We rode our bikes around campus, just goofing around, when he stumbled upon us. He was so warm and funny, even though it was pitch black. I swear it was like someone turned the lights on.”
Anne Hathaway

“We were backstage waiting for her cue to go on and started chatting. She told me she was such a klutz, and we joked around. Then, when she was called on stage, she tripped hard going up the stairs and face-planted, then turned around to me, and we both started laughing.”
“Had a buddy in the same airport security line as her. He said she was clearly making sure to stay incognito, but he was right next to her in line. She was cool and took a lowkey selfie with him (her bodyguards are scary looking).”
Lenny Kravitz

“Lenny Kravitz used to stay a lot at my hotel. One of the coolest dudes ever became a somewhat regular at the hotel bar. Super nice guy. I always got excited to see him because he always came in at the night’s end and would make closing way more fun!”
John Mulaney

“I checked John Mulaney into a hotel room once. He wanted to pay for someone else’s room, so he was at my desk for 5 minutes while I set that up. He’s a genuinely nice guy.”
“My friend helped him with a private party and said he was nice and chatty, and the two chatted about their neuroses.”
Danny Devito

“I ended up at a hotel bar in Philly with her friend and this girl I was hanging out with. Turns out the cast of Always Sunny was filming the 10th(ish?) season and staying at the hotel and hanging out downstairs. So the girl’s friend flags down Danny as he’s walking by, and he ends up sitting with us for 2 hours. Buys us a couple rounds. And tries to invite the girl up to his hotel room. A weird turn, but he also introduced us to Charlie Day, so I’m calling it a win.”
Daniel Radcliffe

“I’m not a big H.P. fan, but one of my friends is, so we went to see his show Endgame in London a few months ago and waited in the lobby after the show ended (which was the equivalent of waiting by the stage door). He came out and spoke to everyone who wanted to talk to him, which was an enormous number of people, for hours. Instead of quickly taking a photo and signing a playbill for each person, he showed genuine curiosity about the people he met, asked questions, made conversation, and made everyone feel like they mattered. This was at night after the show had ended, and I’m sure he was tired, yet he was still such a charming and genuinely caring guy to each person. I was blown away. I wasn’t much of a Daniel Radcliffe fan before this, but I am now.”
Stan Lee

“He was my neighbor for a while and directly wrote me letters which I now have framed on my wall.”
“My uncle is a comic artist and met all the legends. He said Stan was the nicest. I wish I could’ve met the man.”
