On a Friday night, as they pulled into their driveway, they were greeted by the sight of their neighbors hosting a party. To their dismay, one of the inconsiderate guests had parked in their spot. Determined to send a message, they hatched a mischievous plan. Here is what they had to say:
They Arrived Home

“Friday night I came home from work to find someone on our block was having a large party and someone decided they were entitled to park in my driveway.”
The Car Couldn’t Be Removed

Their driveway was narrow with walls on both sides and a garage at the end, making it impossible for a tow truck to remove the car without causing damage.
They Blocked The Car In

Since there was no street parking available, they decided to take matters into their own hands. They parked their own car right behind the intruding vehicle in the driveway.
And Refused To Move It

After a few hours, the person who had parked in their driveway came knocking at their door. They explained what happened next: she was “demanding I move my car so she can leave. Seeing as they were demanding, I informed them that I had been drinking and would not move my car.”
The Police Were Called

They were then shocked when the guest said she was going to call the police in an attempt to force them to move the car.
They Stuck To Their Story

When the police arrived, they made sure to grab a beer from the fridge before answering the door and talking to the officer.
And Explained They Couldn’t Move The Car

They explained that they told the police, “I was unwinding and had been drinking and was in no shape to drive.”
The Police Couldn’t Do Anything

Since the car parked in their driveway couldn’t be towed, they were legally parked, and they were unable to drive, the police couldn’t do anything about it.
They Took Their Revenge

They then told the person who had parked in their driveway that they would be partying all weekend and the car could only be moved after they went to work on Tuesday.
The Internet Responded

One person said, “The absolute entitled audacity to park in someone else’s driveway without permission. I would have taken Uber to work on Tuesday!”
Another poster said, “’ Hello, police? I trespassed on someone’s private property by parking my vehicle up their driveway and now they’ve parked behind me and won’t let me out! I’m the victim here! I demand you come and punish them!’ Nice work. I applaud your pettiness.”
