A couple moved in with their sister and her husband. A parking dispute with their drunk neighbor escalated and almost ended in a physical fight. This led to a call to the police and a conflict between the couple.
A New Beginning
This husband and wife duo decided to move in with her sister and husband for a short period of time. The couple also had a roommate but this didn’t bother the husband and wife. They rented a big trailer to transport all their worldly belongings to their new home.
A Heated Exchange
As they settled into their new living arrangements, the couple found themselves in a heated exchange with their neighbor over parking. The husband had parked his truck and trailer in front of the neighbor’s house, the only spot that could accommodate both. The neighbor approached them rudely, demanding that they move the truck.
An Aggressive Approach
“Nah, ya’ll ain’t gonna come up in here and start this. Move your truck. You can’t park in front of my house,” the neighbor said.
Public Parking Bro!
Despite the roommate’s friend pointing out that it was public parking, the neighbor continued to escalate the situation. He got in the friend’s face, prompting the husband and roommate to intervene.
They Needed Help
The husband turned to his wife and told her to “get someone to help,” prompting her to call the police. She wasn’t sure who else to get to help so felt she only had one option, and that was the cops. When the neighbor found out, he continued to berate them, with another neighbor cheering him on.
She Called the COPS?!
“How you gonna come up in my neighborhood and call the cops?!” the neighbor shouted. The wife didn’t tell anyone she was on the phone to the police so she could only assume the neighbor was guessing. This didn’t put her at ease as the neighbor was getting in her husband’s face looking for a fist fight!
He Must Have Been Drunk
When the husband returned, he revealed that the neighbor was likely drunk. The wife told him about the call to the police, causing him to react negatively. The husband explained he could smell alcohol on his breath and he was slurring his words slightly. This is probably why he reacted so badly.
The Wife Explained
When the wife told her husband she’d called the cops but had cancelled the dispatch after things deescalated he reacted very badly. “You shouldn’t have called them,” he shouted. Her husband was worried this whole situation was going to leave them as outcasts of the street, making a very difficult life for them all.
Was She Wrong?
Feeling conflicted, the wife wondered if she was the one in the wrong for making the call. She decided to take to the internet and ask for some advice on the situation. She thought she had done the right thing but now she was worried she’d ruined the start of their new lives.

It wasn’t like you were going to keep it parked there permanently”
