The girl said, “My mom died a little over a year ago. I was living with her full-time before she passed. She left me a lot of money and her house. Since the house was just going to stay empty until I was done with college my aunt (on my mom’s side) and I talked about it and we agreed she would stay there since she’s taking care of my grandma and her place was small.”
Her Dad Assumed The House Belonged To Her Aunt
The girl planned to move back into the house after completing her education. Meanwhile, her dad assumed that the girl’s mom had left her the money while leaving the house to her aunt. However, the woman didn’t correct her dad’s assumption due to their strained relationship and lack of trust.
He Was Angry At Her
She lived with her dad, his wife Jan, and her twin stepsisters (both 17) in a three-bedroom flat. Two months ago, her dad discovered the truth about the inheritance, and since then, he hadn’t stopped berating her, accusing her of being selfish for not sharing the house and money and forcing the twins to take out loans.

Recently, during the twins’ birthday celebration at her grandma’s house, they questioned whether her gift to them was all she planned to give. The girl was surprised by this, as she didn’t understand what they meant.
