Jaelinn’s mother agreed to let James invite his family for a Valentine’s Day proposal to Jaelinn, but the last few weeks leading up to the event had been pure hell. James had been making demands and acting like he was nervous, but he didn’t stop. He wasn’t an easy person to be around at the best of times but this was getting out of hand.

The last straw came when James asked Jaelinn’s mother to make sure Devon didn’t “act too gay” in front of his parents. Jaelinn’s mother lost her temper, revoked the invitation, and told James to find somewhere else to propose. She refused to have her son spoken about in such a hateful manner.
Her Daughter Was Furious
This caused an uproar in the house, and Jaelinn was furious with her mother. She said James changed his mind about proposing to her altogether, and it was all her mother’s fault. It was never her mother’s intention to make the proposal fall through. She was simply trying to protect both of her kids to the best of her ability.
